What is Flouride
Why do some people disapprove of adding fluoride to drinking water?People disapprove of adding fluoride to drinking water for on reason. The reason is that scientist do not know enough about the element fluoride. They think that this element might hurt our country if we put it in our drinking water or it might react to the other elements in the water.
What would your position be on adding fluoride to drinking water and why?My position on adding fluoride to drinking water is yes we should do it. I think we should add it because Fluoride help tooth decay and lets people have less placque on there teeth which helps to prevent other serious teeth problems. Also it could help clean our water and help improve the drinking water. These two thing could really help our nation.

What technological advances in toothpaste had to be made before fluoride could be widely used in toothpaste and mouthwashes?The reason for the toothpaste and mouthwash advances were because Fluoride has a high reactivity so they had to make changes so the Fluoride would not react. Some Changes were increasing the Ph and changing the ingredients to the substances. They changes helped the toothpaste because that little bit of Fluoride inside it helps keep our teeth super clean.
4. What side effects of using fluoride in drinking water are of most concern to you? Why?What concerns me is if to much Fluoride is put into the drinking water. This concerns me because if to much is in there it would stop helping our teeth and start to hurt them. Teeth would begin to turn brown and look like they have furnisher polish on them. I personally would not like that and I would have to know the amount of Fluoride they would be putting in Atlanta’s water before they did.
